The unit ‘D B AUTOMOBILES’ was started on 1^st Nov 1992 as a partnership firm. The main objective of Unit was to overhaul various types of engines, which are fitted on Heavy Commercial & Passenger Vehicles, Medium Commercial and Agricultural Vehicles, Light Passenger Vehicles and fitted on marine applications.
We are appointed by Ashok Leyland Limited, Chennai as Ashok Leyland Industrial Engine Dealer for Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, Solapur, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg Districts of Maharashtra State since 1^st Jan 1997. Ashok Leyland engines are fitted on excavators, Compressors, JCB, Gensets, Stone crushers etc. We are authorized for Engine Sales, Warranty Services and Sale of Parts.
We are appointed by ‘WABCO’, today known as ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Ltd. as an Authorized Service Centre for Air Brake Systems in Kolhapur and Sangli districts in 2005. This system is fitted on all heavy vehicles including Ashok Leyland, Tata, Force Mann, Eicher etc. ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Ltd.is a world leader in air brake system which overtook ‘WABCO’ in 2022 and we are happy to say that they have continued with our authorization.
In December 2022, we have been appointed as authorized distributor of Portable Compressors-Sales, Service & Spares by ‘Atlas Copco (I) Pvt Ltd’ for Kolhapur, Sangli, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg districts in Maharashtra along with entire Goa State. These compressors are widely used for mining, water-well, sand blasting, drilling purposes.
In addition, we are a leading Re-Boring workshop in Kolhapur where we carry job work like Crankshaft Grinding, Line Boring, Boring and Honing, Connecting Rod Machining, Cylinder Head Reconditioning for all types of vehicles.
